Hiroyuki Hamaguchi got his doctoral degree, and Daiki Sakamoto got their master's degree on March 25. Congratulations! 3月25日に、濱口が博士コース、坂本が修士コース、を修了しました。おめでとうございます！

Three current lab members, Khin Khin Tha, Maho Kitagawa, and Jincheng Wang, attended the annual meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and had research presentations in person. Khin and Maho had oral presentations, and Jincheng had an e-poster presentation. The lab members also reunited with alumnus Ryota Sato, who is currently working at the Mayo Clinic. タ、北川、王が国際磁気共鳴医学会に参加し、タと北川が口頭発表を、王が電子ポスター発表をしました。また、学会会場でアメリカ留学中の卒業生佐藤にも会うことができました (5/8) 

Khin Khin Tha gave an online lecture on "Radiomics" at the 2024 Philippine Conference on Medical Physics. タがフィリピン医学物理学会でラジオミクスに関する遠隔講演を行いました。(5/9)

Khin Khin Tha and Maho Kitagawa attended the ISMRM-endorsed global outreach workshop in Thailand 2024 in Bangkok. Khin lectured on "electrical conductivity mapping in normal and disease states," and Maho had a poster and oral presentation. タと北川はタイのバンコクで開催されたアウトリーチワークショップに参加し、タはMRIを用いた導電率マッピングについて講演し、北川は口頭・ポスター発表を行いました。(5/10-12)

Khin Khin Tha visited Chiang Mai University and gave a talk on "Radiomics in Radiology and More." タはチェンマイ大学に訪問し、ラジオミクスに関する講演と現行研究の紹介をしました。(5/13-14) 

Khin Khin Tha gave a keynote lecture on "Radiomics in Oncology" at the AMS Research Symposium for Graduate Students 2024, Chiang Mai University Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences. タはチエンマイ大学保健科学研究院主催のリサーチシンポシウムでラジオミクスに関する基調講演を行いました。(5/27)

Jincheng Wang, Mui Saito, and Kentaro Nishigami had a mid-term research presentation on June 19. Lab members threw a small party afterward. 王、齊藤、西上の3人が、6月19日に中間研究発表を行った。その後、研究室のメンバーでささやかなパーティーを開いた。(6/19)

Maho Kitagawa had an oral presentation at the 10th Hokkaido University Cross-Departmental Symposium. 北川が第10回北海道大学部局横断シンポジウムで口頭発表をした。(9/6)

JSMRM was held from September 20-22. Khin Khin Tha presented ways to incorporate multilingual sessions at national conferences at a diversity committee symposium. She also moderated an educational session. 9月20日～22日に日本磁気共鳴医学会が開催された。タは、多様性委員会シンポジウムで、国内会議多言語セッションの取り入れる方法について発表した。また、教育講演の座長も務めた。(9/20-21) 

Khin Khin Tha gave a talk and moderated two scientific sessions in the EMTP workshop in Santiago, Chile. タがチリのサンティアゴで開催されたEMTPワークショップで講演し、2つの口頭発表セッションの座長を務めた。(9/25, 27)

The article "Magnetic Resonance Imaging During a Pandemic: Recommendations by the ISMRM Safety Committee," coauthored by Khin Khin Tha, was one of the most downloaded during its first 12 months of publication in the Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. タが共著で書かれた"Magnetic Resonance Imaging During a Pandemic: Recommendations by the ISMRM Safety Committee”論文がJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imagingに掲載されてから12ヶ月間で最もダウンロードされた論文の1つになりました。(3/30)

Four lab members, Khin Khin Tha, Philip Jnr Kyeremeh Oppong, Maho Kitagawa, and Daiki Sakamoto, attended the annual meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and had research presentations in person. Khin, Maho, and Daiki had e-poster presentations, and Philip had a traditional poster presentation. Khin moderated two plenaries. We had a memorable outside-of-lab event (Sapporo Summer Festival) at Odori Park. 研究室外（札幌夏祭）で楽しい時間を過ごしました (8/1)。

Our Summer School on "Applied physics to explore the anatomy and pathology of the brain" was successfully finished. 「応用物理学で探る脳の解剖と病理学」サマースクールは無事に終了しました (8/28-9/1)。

Two lab members, Khin Khin Tha and Jin-Cheng Weng, attended the 51st annual meeting of the Japanese Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (JSMRM) and the Japanese Chapter Meeting of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) in person in Karuizawa. Khin had two symposium talks, and Jin-Cheng had an oral presentation. タと王が軽井沢で開催された第51回日本磁気共鳴医学会及び国司磁気共鳴医学会のジャパンチャプターミーティングに参加し、タが２つのシンポシウム講演を、王が一般演題（口頭）発表を、しました。 (9/22-24)

Khin Khin Tha responded to an NHK interview about the current situation of healthcare services in Myanmar. Part of the interview was broadcasted on TV on Jan 31 and Feb 1. タが、ミャンマー医療サービスの現状に関するNHKインタビューに応じました。インタビューの一部は1月31日と2月1日にテレビで放送されました。

Xinnan Li got his doctoral degree, and Hu Yang and Maho Kitagawa got their master's degree on March 24. Congratulations! 3月24日に、李が博士コース、楊と北川が修士コース、を修了しました。おめでとうございます！

The 9th GCB Biomedical Science and Engineering Symposium

Khin Khin Tha gave an invited talk on "Noninvasive Assessment of Tissue Electrical Conductivity: Potential Clinical Value" and served as an organizer and moderator of the mini-symposium entitled "Imaging Electrical Properties by MRI" in ICBEM-ICEBI-EIT 2022. タが、ICBEM-ICEBI-EIT 2022において、「Noninvasive Assessment of Tissue Electrical Conductivity: Potential Clinical Value」の題名で招待講演を行い、「Imaging Electrical Properties by MRI」と題したミニシンポジウムの企画者と座長をを務めました (6/30)。

Three of the lab members attended the 50th-anniversary meeting of the JSMRM in person in Nagoya: Khin Khin Tha co-chaired a symposium entitled "To harness the full potential of brain MRI" and a joint KSMRM-JSMRM symposium. Hiroyuki Hamaguchi presented his work on the sensitivity of MRI myelin quantifiers, and Maho Kitagawa presented the effect of nighttime wakefulness on the brain's glymphatic system, metabolites, and functional connectivity. Cheers, and keep up with your work! 3名の研究室員が名古屋で開催された第50回日本磁気共鳴医学会に現地参加しました。タが”脳MRIの可能性を最大限に活かすために”と”KSMRM-JSMRM”シンポシウムの座長を務めました。また、濱口がMRIミエリン指標の感度について口頭発表を、北川が夜間覚醒が脳に及ぼす影響についてパワーピッチ発表を、しました。お疲れ様でした (9/9-11)。

Maho Kitagawa and Jin-Cheng Wang participated in the Science Festa 2022. 北川と王が「サイエンス・フェスタ2022」に参加しました(12/17-18)。

Khin Khin Tha served as an RSNA representative to present "how AI can shape diagnostic imaging practice" in the 29th Chinese Congress of Radiology. タが、RSNA代表として、第29回中国放射線医学会において、「how AI can shape diagnostic imaging practice」の題名で発表しました (12/26)。
